Steps to claim a refund

  1. Step1 - Request donation receipt
    Get receipt from The Arabic School of New Zealand from the past three years.
    Request one from info@arabicschool.org.nz, include “Donation receipt request“ in the subject.

  2. Step 2A - Using MyIR (If you’re already registered)
    Follow instructions here on IRD website.

    Step 2B - Fill-out IRD form

    Complete the IR526-2020 form — Download here.
    Make sure you have an up-to-date form.

  3. Step 3 - Submit receipt and completed IRD form

    Enclose both form and receipts to be sent to IRD and address is on the form.
    Fill out a separate form for each year of receipts separately. For example, you may file up to four years donations, and you’ll receive refunds for all three years at once.
